The app is in Spanish
Membrix was built in Mexico. The dashboard, the teacher and student portals, the sign-up form and the automatic messages are all in Spanish today. Anything you type yourself, such as class names, program names and custom fields, can be in English.
Charge in US dollars if you like
Each academy sets the currency it charges its own students in, and US dollars are one of the options. Membrix doesn't convert anything: it labels the amounts you enter. You record payments as you receive them.
Card payments are Mexico-only for now
Accepting cards and automatic monthly charges inside Membrix is available only for academies in Mexico that bill in Mexican pesos. Everywhere else, you record cash, transfer or card payments as you collect them.
Built for academies, not K-12 schools
Membrix is for extracurricular academies and studios. It doesn't do grades, report cards or the administrative processes of a full school.

Create your account
Sign up with your email. There is no credit card and no sales call. Tell Membrix your academy's name, type and the currency you charge in, which can be US dollars.

Add your students and programs
Import your list, then create a program for each thing you sell: a monthly class, a course, a one-time workshop or a class pack, each with its own price and billing day.

Build your schedule
Create classes on the calendar with days, times, capacity and teachers, and enroll students in them.

Is Membrix available in English?

Not yet. The app, the dashboard and the messages Membrix sends are in Spanish today, while the pages on this site in English describe how it works. What you type, like class names and custom fields, can be in any language.
What kinds of academies use it?

Do my students need to install anything?

No. Students and teachers can sign in to a web portal from a phone or computer browser at no cost. The mobile app for iPhone and Android is part of the Pro plan.
Can I use it outside Mexico?

Academies in several countries use it, and each academy chooses its own currency, including US dollars. The main limit is that card payments and automatic charges inside Membrix work only for academies in Mexico that bill in pesos.
