Swim school software in Spanish for lessons, adult beginners and summer sessions
Swim schools teach adults as well as kids, and a summer is a string of two-week sessions rather than a monthly class. Membrix lets adults sign themselves up, bills each session as a short course and keeps siblings in different levels on one payment.
Free plan with unlimited students. No credit card to start.
Membrix's app and dashboard are currently available in Spanish.
Track tuition in USD. Integrated card payments and automatic charges are currently available only in Mexico, in MXN.

Situations that only come up in Spanish-speaking swim schools
Adult beginners sign themselves up
An adult beginner opens your link and picks a class. The form's built-in wording is Spanish, and its first question is whether the person is an adult student or the guardian of a minor, so an adult uses their own name. A class package that expires after a number of weeks suits someone who can't commit to every Saturday.
Summer is a chain of two-week sessions
Session one, session two and session three each have a start date and an end date. Create each as a fixed-length program, enroll the student in the next one when the last ends, and the enrollment in each closes on its own. Payments and attendance stay on the same student record.
People accept your water-safety rules before the first class
You can publish rules, written in your own words and in Spanish, that a person must accept when they sign up. It works as a record that they accepted the rules. It isn't a waiver: the form doesn't collect signatures or files, so anything signed stays on paper.
Two siblings in different levels, one payment
The eight-year-old is in Level 2 and the five-year-old in “Tadpoles”, each a different program with a different price. One adult pays for both in a single joint payment, and each child keeps their own balance and history. Moving a swimmer up later uses Change program.
How Spanish-speaking swim schools use Membrix
- 1
Create a program for each level and each summer session
“Tadpoles”, “Level 1”, “Adult beginners” and “Summer session 1” each have a price and a billing model, such as monthly, a fixed-length course or a one-time class pack with an expiration in weeks.
- 2
Build the groups and give each day an instructor
Create each class from the calendar with its days, times, capacity and a label for the pool or the lane. Instructors sign in to a Spanish-language portal on a phone and mark students present or absent.
- 3
Publish your sign-up link and your rules
Turn on the registration link, add your own questions, such as “Can the student put their face in the water?”, and publish the rules a person must accept. Each request arrives for you to review, with billing starting when you choose.
- 4
Record the money you collect and move students up
Record each payment in dollars as it arrives. When a swimmer moves up a level, Change program keeps their payments and attendance history on the same record.

What Membrix doesn't do
So you know up front whether it fits.
- Membrix doesn't collect signed waivers. The registration form has no signature or file upload, only rules that a person accepts, so keep a signed copy some other way.
- It doesn't schedule lifeguards or reserve lanes. The pool label on a class is only a label, and you resolve overlaps when you build the schedule.
- The rules a person accepts are shown in the wording you write. Membrix doesn't translate them, so write them in the language your students read.
- Membrix doesn't process cards or bank payments in the U.S., so a session is shown as paid only once you record the money you collected.
Frequently asked questions about Membrix for Spanish-speaking swim schools
Can adults learning to swim sign up in Spanish?
+
Yes. The registration form's built-in wording is Spanish, and the first question asks whether the person is an adult student or the guardian of a minor, so an adult signs up under their own name. You can rewrite each question or add your own, and you approve every request.
How do I sell a summer as several short sessions?
+
Create each session as its own program with a start date, an end date and a price, or as a one-time class pack with an expiration. Enroll students in the sessions they want. When a session ends its enrollment closes, and the student's history stays on the same record.
Can I make people accept water-safety rules when they register?
+
Yes. You can publish rules that the person must accept in the sign-up form, in wording you write. It records that the person accepted them. It isn't an e-signature tool, and the form doesn't collect files, so it can't replace a signed waiver if you need one.
Can one adult pay for two children in different levels?
+
Yes. Each child is enrolled in their own level, each a separate program with its own price. When the adult pays, a single joint payment covers both, and each child keeps their own balance. Membrix warns you if the students don't share the same contact.
Can my instructors take attendance at the pool?
+
Yes. Instructors sign in to a web portal in Spanish from a phone or a tablet and mark each student present, late, excused or absent. They don't see payment amounts. The mobile app for instructors is a Pro feature, and it is also in Spanish.
