Academy management software in Spanish, with tuition tracked in US dollars

Plenty of U.S. academies are run by people who work in Spanish: the owner, the front desk, the instructors and many of the students. Membrix was built in Spanish, tracks tuition in dollars and tells you plainly what it doesn't do yet.

Who runs an academy in Spanish

Owners who run the business in Spanish

You read balances, overdue lists, class schedules and settings in your own language, and so does any additional administrator you invite. The AI assistant's chat on Pro answers your questions about your academy in Spanish.

A front desk that works better in Spanish

The person who greets students and records payments can have their own login as an additional administrator, with the permissions you choose. That is a Pro feature. Nobody has to translate a screen in the middle of a busy pickup hour.

Instructors who teach in Spanish

Instructors sign in to a web portal in Spanish on a phone, see only their own classes and mark attendance. They don't see payment amounts. The mobile app for instructors is Pro and is also in Spanish.

Students or guardians who read Spanish

The sign-up form's built-in wording, the student portal, receipts and automatic reminders are all in Spanish. You can rewrite the text of each sign-up question, and add your own, in whichever language your community reads.

What is in Spanish today

This is what you and your students see, from the first screen to the receipt.

  • The dashboard, the settings and every screen you use to run the academy
  • Web portals for instructors and for students, at no cost on the free plan
  • The public sign-up form's built-in wording, with a first question that asks whether the person is an adult student or the guardian of a minor
  • Payment receipts and the automatic reminders sent by app notification and email on Pro
  • The mobile app for admins, instructors and students on Pro
  • The AI assistant's chat answers on Pro, and its nightly recommendations
  • The help center, and support by WhatsApp and email in Spanish

What isn't in Spanish, or isn't in English

So you know where the product stops before you sign up.

  • Membrix has no English interface and no language switch. If someone on your team needs English screens, this isn't the product for them today.
  • Everything Membrix sends on your behalf is written in Spanish. You can add a short personal note to a reminder, but the rest is a fixed template.
  • The privacy notice and the terms of service exist only in Spanish. The pages on this site in English describe how the product works.
  • Text you type yourself is yours: class names, program names, custom fields and the wording of your own sign-up questions can be in English, Spanish or both.
  • WhatsApp reminders go out from Membrix's number with Spanish templates, so don't count on WhatsApp for U.S. phone numbers.

Tuition tracked in US dollars

Each academy chooses the currency it charges its own students in, and US dollars are one of the options. Membrix labels the amounts you enter; it doesn't convert anything.

  • Prices, balances and overdue charges appear in dollars, and payments are recorded by cash, transfer, debit card or credit card, with a date and a reference.
  • Integrated card payments and automatic charges are currently available only in Mexico, in MXN. In the U.S. you collect the money your usual way and record it.
  • Changing your currency later relabels existing amounts and doesn't convert them, so pick dollars at the start.

Frequently asked questions about running an academy in Spanish

Is there academy management software in Spanish for U.S. academies?

+

Membrix is one. The dashboard, the instructor and student portals, the sign-up form's built-in wording, receipts and reminders are in Spanish, and you can track tuition in US dollars. It doesn't process card payments in the U.S., and it has no English interface.

Can my staff use Spanish while my students see English?

+

Only partly. What you type, such as class names and your own sign-up questions, can be in English. But the sign-up form's built-in wording, the student portal, receipts and automatic reminders are in Spanish, and there is no language switch. If most of your students read English, that matters.

Does the Spanish version cost more, or have fewer features?

+

There is only one version. The free plan has unlimited students, and Pro has a single monthly or yearly price per location, whatever the language you use. Every screen of the product is in Spanish, because that is the only language it has today.

Can my students pay by card inside Membrix in the U.S.?

+

Not yet. Integrated card payments and automatic charges are currently available only in Mexico, in MXN. In the U.S. you collect cash, transfers or card payments yourself and record each one in Membrix, which keeps balances and overdue charges up to date.

Who answers if I have a question in Spanish?

+

Support is in Spanish by WhatsApp and by email, and the help center is written in Spanish. Membrix is a Mexican company, so expect Mexican Spanish in the product and in the messages it sends to your students.
