Membrix vs iClassPro: which fits a Spanish-speaking academy?
iClassPro is an established U.S. product for gymnastics, cheer, dance and swim programs, with integrated payments in the U.S. Membrix runs entirely in Spanish and doesn't process cards in the U.S. Here is how they compare, with sources and dates.

- Your front desk, instructors or owners work more comfortably in Spanish and you want every screen and message in it.
- You want to start on a free plan with unlimited students before you pay for anything.
- You collect tuition yourself, by cash, transfer or your own card reader, and want to record it in one place.
- You run a soccer, martial arts or other academy outside gymnastics, cheer, dance and swim.
iClassPro
- You want card and ACH payments processed inside the software in the U.S., with recurring billing and next-day funding.
- You run gymnastics, cheer, dance or swim programs and want deep skill tracking, makeup tokens and party booking.

The short version
If your team works in Spanish and you are content recording payments you collect yourself, Membrix is worth a trial: it's free to start and Pro costs less per location. If you want payments processed inside the software, deep skill tracking for gymnastics, cheer, dance or swim, and apps in the app stores, and your team works in English, iClassPro is the more complete product, and Membrix doesn't match it on those points.

Language of the product
Membrix: The dashboard, portals, mobile app, sign-up form, automatic messages and receipts are in Spanish. Membrix has no English interface.
iClassPro: Its site is in English. Its Branded App add-on is advertised as available in five languages, and the page shows flags that include Spain's. We did not find an official statement about a Spanish admin portal.[5],[10]
How the price is set
Membrix: Free plan with unlimited students. Pro is $49/month per location, or $41/month billed yearly ($499 a year), with unlimited students.
iClassPro: Three plans priced per location per month: Signature $139, Elite $199 and Premium $299. Its FAQ page states unlimited students, classes and events, and still shows $129 for Signature, which differs from its pricing page. Its pricing page states prices in USD.[1],[2]
Commitment
Card and bank payments
Membrix: Membrix does not process cards or bank payments in the U.S. You collect tuition your usual way and record each payment. Integrated card payments and automatic charges are currently available only in Mexico, in MXN.
iClassPro: Says it can currently offer both gateway and merchant services only in the United States, and its payment services include stored payment methods, payment plans and Autopilot Billing. Next-day funding is listed for U.S. locations only.[1],[2],[3],[4]
Automated billing messages and reminders
Membrix: Reminders go out by app notification and email on Pro. There is no SMS channel, and don't count on WhatsApp for U.S. phone numbers. The messages are fixed Spanish templates with a short note you can add.
iClassPro: Autopilot lists preset workflows that include payment reminders, expiring cards and waitlist offers, and the site lists email, push and a two-way texting inbox.[4],[7]

Membrix: The Membrix app for admins, teachers and students is part of Pro and is in Spanish. Teachers and students also have a free web portal.
iClassPro: A customer app, a staff portal app and a kiosk app in the app stores. A separate Branded App under your academy's name is an add-on at $499 setup plus $150 a month.[1],[5],[6]
Skill and progress tracking
Membrix: On Pro, assessments with attached photos or PDFs and level decisions on each student's record. It is lighter than a dedicated skills module.
iClassPro: A skill tracking module with a skill bank, skill trees, certificates and progress visible in its customer portal.[9]

Same basis for both: US dollars, the monthly list price each company publishes and one location. iClassPro charges per location with unlimited students, and Membrix Pro also charges per location with unlimited students, so no student count is needed. The plans include different features, so this compares price only.

- Each figure is the company's published monthly list price, shown in dollars. iClassPro states its prices are in USD.
- For one location, Membrix Pro's monthly price is lower than iClassPro's lowest plan and lower than its Elite and Premium plans. That comparison is on price only: iClassPro's plans include integrated U.S. payments and other capabilities that Membrix does not.
- iClassPro's pricing page lists the same features for all three plans in its text, so we could not tell what Elite and Premium add. We make no claim about the differences.
- iClassPro doesn't publish its payment processing rates on the pages we read, so they aren't part of this comparison.
What Membrix does
Spanish on every screen and message
The dashboard, portals, app, sign-up form, receipts and automatic messages are in Spanish. There is no English interface, so this fits teams that want to work in Spanish and not in both languages.
Start free, add Pro when it helps
Unlimited students, programs, tuition tracking, classes and attendance are free. Pro adds reminders, the mobile app, reports, expense tracking and more.
Not limited to four disciplines
Soccer, martial arts, music, languages, art and other after-school programs use the same tools as dance and swim: programs, classes with levels, attendance and tuition.

Students sign up through a link or QR code and you approve each request, choosing when billing starts.

When iClassPro is the better fit

You want payments processed inside the software
iClassPro says its integrated processing is currently offered in the United States, with stored payment methods, payment plans and Autopilot Billing, and lists next-day funding for U.S. locations. Membrix only records payments you collect elsewhere.
You run gymnastics, cheer, dance or swim and want deep tools
iClassPro's home page is built around those four and lists a skill bank with skill trees and certificates, makeup tokens and party booking. Membrix covers the basics of those programs with less depth.
You want apps in the app stores
iClassPro has a customer app, a staff portal app and a kiosk app in the app stores, plus a branded add-on. Membrix has one app for admins, teachers and students, on Pro, in Spanish.
You want two-way texting
iClassPro lists a two-way texting inbox with per-credit pricing for outbound texts in the U.S. and Canada. Membrix has no SMS channel; you can copy our reminder templates and text students yourself.
You rely on waitlists and makeup tokens
iClassPro's class management lists waitlists and makeup tokens. Membrix has no waiting list, and a cancelled session is rescheduled for everyone enrolled rather than credited as a token.
How to try Membrix if you use iClassPro
Nothing needs to be switched off to test it. Load a copy of your list into Membrix and compare it with your real work for a few weeks.
- 1List what you use every week in iClassPro: payments, texting, skill tracking, waitlists. Anything Membrix doesn't do in the U.S. is a reason to stay.
- 2Export your student list from iClassPro as a spreadsheet, or ask iClassPro how to get one, and check it includes phone numbers and emails.
- 3Create a Membrix account and choose US dollars as the currency you charge your students in. The app is in Spanish.
- 4Import the spreadsheet. Membrix detects the columns and lets you correct them, and you review duplicates before confirming.
- 5Create your programs with prices and billing days and record a week of real payments and attendance.
- 6Keep iClassPro until your team is comfortable. Its Premium plan has a 12-month commitment, so check the term of your plan before you cancel.
