Dance studio software in Spanish for folklórico, salsa and quinceañera classes
A studio that teaches folklórico on Tuesdays and prepares a quinceañera court on Saturdays sells very different things: a monthly class, a twelve-week package, a dress ordered in advance. Membrix bills each one its own way and runs in Spanish for you and your instructors.
Free plan with unlimited students. No credit card to start.
Membrix's app and dashboard are currently available in Spanish.
Track tuition in USD. Integrated card payments and automatic charges are currently available only in Mexico, in MXN.

Situations that only come up in Spanish-speaking dance studios
A quinceañera package is a short course, not a monthly class
The waltz, the surprise dance and the court rehearsals run for about twelve weeks before the party. Create it as a fixed-length program with a start date, an end date and a set number of payments, so the deposit and the installments land on the schedule you promised and the enrollment closes when the course ends.
The court owes things the quinceañera's package doesn't cover
Each student in the court, the damas and chambelanes, may owe a rehearsal shirt or a rental fee. With Add charge you select only those students (up to 300 at once), choose Uniform or Other with your own description and set the amount and due date. It appears on each account as its own line, apart from tuition.
One studio, three styles, three instructors, two languages
Folklórico on Tuesdays, bachata on Thursdays and hip hop on Saturdays are three programs with their own price, and each day can have a different instructor. Instructors sign in to a Spanish-language portal on their phones and take attendance; they don't see payment amounts. Class names and custom fields are whatever you type, in Spanish, English or both.
A regional dress is ordered once and paid over months
A Jalisco or Veracruz dress is ordered in advance and often paid in two steps. Use Add charge for the deposit and again for the balance, each with its own due date, and a custom field such as “Dress size” so you can filter Students by it when you place the order. Membrix records the amounts, not the order or the fitting.
How Spanish-speaking dance studios use Membrix
- 1
Create a program for each style and each package
“Folklórico kids”, “Bachata adults” and “Quince package, 12 weeks” each get a price and a billing model: monthly, a fixed-length course with a set number of payments, or a one-time charge.
- 2
Build your classes with an instructor for each day
Create each class from the calendar with its days, times, room label and capacity, and assign the instructor who covers each day. Instructors see their own classes in the portal.
- 3
Share your sign-up link where your community is
Post the link or the QR code on Instagram or at the recital. The form asks first whether the person is an adult student or the guardian of a minor. Its built-in wording is Spanish, and you can rewrite each question or add your own, such as “Has the student danced before?”
- 4
Record payments in dollars as they arrive
Choose US dollars as your currency, then record the cash a student hands over after class, a bank transfer or a card payment you took yourself, with a reference. Balances and overdue charges update on their own.

What Membrix doesn't do
So you know up front whether it fits.
- Membrix doesn't plan the celebration itself. There are no guest lists, vendor contracts or seating charts, only the dance preparation and who owes what for it.
- It doesn't record which dress or costume each dancer was issued. A custom field can hold a size or a short note, but there is no wardrobe tracking.
- Membrix doesn't process cards or bank payments in the U.S. You collect the money yourself and record it, so a deposit only shows as paid once you enter it.
- Automatic reminders are Spanish templates. If some students or guardians read English, you can copy our reminder templates and send those yourself.
Frequently asked questions about Membrix for Spanish-speaking dance studios
Can I bill a quinceañera package as one price with installments?
+
Yes. Create a program that bills as a fixed-length course, give it a start date, an end date and a number of payments, and enroll the student. The payments are spread across the course and the enrollment closes when it ends. If the package has a deposit, add it as a one-time charge when the student enrolls.
Can I charge only the court members for their rehearsal shirts?
+
Yes. In Payments (Pagos), choose Add charge, select the students in the court, pick a concept such as Uniform, write your own description, and set the amount and the due date. Only the students you selected are charged, and everyone else sees nothing.
Do my instructors need to read English?
+
No. The instructor portal and the mobile app are in Spanish, so a teacher can see the day's classes and mark each student present, late, excused or absent without any English. What you type yourself, like class names, can be in either language.
Can students and guardians sign up in Spanish?
+
Yes. The registration form's built-in wording is in Spanish, and you can rewrite the text of any question or add your own. The first question asks whether the person is an adult student or the guardian of a minor. You approve each request before anyone is billed.
Can my dance students pay by card through Membrix?
+
Not in the U.S. today. Integrated card payments and automatic charges work only for academies in Mexico that bill in pesos. In the U.S. you record cash, transfer or card payments you collected yourself, and Membrix keeps each student's balance and overdue charges up to date.
