Levels, competitions and tuition for your gymnastics gym
In gymnastics every student has a level, a group and an event calendar, and almost none of it fits in a monthly fee. Membrix separates tuition from what only the competitive team pays and keeps each student's history within reach.
Free plan with unlimited students. No credit card to start.
Membrix's app and dashboard are currently available in Spanish.

Situations that only come up in gymnastics schools
Meet season rearranges the week
The Level 4 group has a qualifier on Saturday, so Tuesday's practice moves. Cancel only that session and reschedule it for Thursday; the enrolled students move to the new date and the rest of the series stays as it was. If the head coach travels with the team, assign another coach to just that session with “Change teachers for this session” (Cambiar maestros de esta sesión). Telling the group by app notification is a Pro feature.
Only the competitive team pays for the meet
The entry fee for the state meet, the team leotard and the travel to the qualifier are charges for twelve students, not eighty. With “Add charge” (Agregar cargo) you select up to 300 students at once, pick a concept such as Event, Uniform or Other with your own description, and set the amount and due date. It stays apart from tuition.
Tumbling, rhythmic and cheer share one floor
Each class has a name, level, room, capacity and its own time for each day it meets, for example Tuesday at 4 and Saturday at 10. A different coach can be assigned to each day, so you don't duplicate the group.
Missing for a meet isn't the same as missing
Attendance has four states: present, late, excused and absent. A student who is away competing or injured can be marked excused, so it doesn't count the way an unexplained absence does, and the record still shows they weren't there.
How gymnastics schools use Membrix
- 1
One program per level
Create “Level 1”, “Level 2” and “Competitive” programs, each with its monthly price and billing day, plus one-time charges when a student enrolls, such as a registration fee or a uniform.
- 2
Groups on the calendar
Create each group with its level, room, capacity, days and times, and coaches per day. One student can be in tumbling and in rhythmic at the same time.
- 3
Charge meets and gear separately
Use Add charge for the team leotard, a clinic or a competition. Every charge appears in the student's account with its own name, so nobody confuses what is tuition and what is an event.
- 4
Attendance and level changes
Coaches mark attendance from a session or from the web portal. With Pro you can record assessments and a level decision, and then move the student with “Change program” (Cambiar de programa).

What Membrix doesn't do
So you know up front whether it fits.
- Membrix doesn't sell tickets or run the meet. The date goes on the calendar and the fees go on each account, but there are no judges, scores, rankings or federation categories.
- Recording “promoted” doesn't move the student. The decision is stored (Pro); you change the group and the fee with Change program.
- It doesn't reserve rooms or apparatus. The room is a label on the class; if two groups want the same beam at the same time, you resolve it when you build the schedule.
- It doesn't calculate coach pay. The app, the dashboard and the automatic messages are in Spanish.
Frequently asked questions about Membrix for gymnastics schools
How do I price the competitive team differently from recreational classes?
+
Create a program for each group, for example “Recreational Level 2” and “Competitive”, each with its own monthly price, billing day and classes. A competitive student can also stay in a recreational program, since a student can be enrolled in more than one. Late fees are set per program and discounts per enrollment.
Can one student be in tumbling and rhythmic at once?
+
Yes. Each discipline can be a program with its own fee and groups, and the student enrolls in both. Each program bills on its own day, and its charges are labeled with the program, so you can tell which discipline each one belongs to.
How do I record that a student moved up a level?
+
On the free plan, move them with Change program, which keeps their payments and history. With Pro, you also record the decision (promoted or not) on their record with a date and a note. That record can't be edited; a correction is added as a new one.
I have several coaches. How do they take attendance?
+
Each group can have different coaches on different days. A coach signs in to the web portal, which is free, and marks attendance in the classes assigned to them that day. The mobile app for coaches is a Pro feature.
Can new students sign up through a link?
+
Yes. You publish a form with your programs and your own questions, and requests arrive in Students as “to review” for you to approve. On the free plan, 3 sign-ups a month go straight through and the rest wait; Pro removes that limit. Adding students by hand is unlimited on every plan.
