Situations that only come up in Spanish-speaking soccer academies
A season has an end date, and the kit is only for new players
The fall season runs ten weeks with ten payments, and only new players buy the uniform kit. Create the season as a fixed-length program with a start date, an end date and a set number of payments, and use Add charge for the kit on just the new players. When the season ends, the enrollment closes.
U8, U10 and U12 need a coach on each night
Each age group is a class with its own days, times, capacity and a coach for each day, so the Tuesday coach and the Thursday coach can share a group. Coaches sign in to a Spanish-language portal to mark attendance. Custom fields such as “Birth year”, “Team” and “Jersey size” can be used as filters in Students and Payments.
The cup fee belongs to one team
Filter Students by your “Team” field, select the players who travel and use Add charge with a concept such as Event. You can select up to 300 students at once, choose the amount and the due date, and nobody outside the team sees a charge.
Three siblings, one payment at the field
When one adult hands over a single payment for three players, the joint payment covers all three accounts at once. If your academy gives a sibling discount, a discount can be set on each student's enrollment. Each player keeps their own balance and history.
Heavy rain closes the field on Saturday
Cancel just that session and reschedule it to another day. Enrolled students move to the new date and the rest of the season stays as built. On Pro, an app notification tells the students the game moved; on the free plan you send that message yourself.

What Membrix doesn't do
So you know up front whether it fits.
- Membrix isn't a league manager. There are no fixtures, standings, brackets or referee assignments, and no player statistics or positions.
- A class's capacity limits sign-ups for that group, but Membrix has no waiting list and doesn't check whether two groups want the same field at the same time.
- It doesn't create a separate roster for each tournament. A custom field such as “Team” is how you tell who plays where, and you update it yourself.
- Card and bank payments are not processed inside Membrix in the U.S., so a fee is shown as paid only after you record the money you received.
Frequently asked questions about Membrix for Spanish-speaking soccer academies
Can I charge a tournament fee only to the players on one team?

Yes. Add a custom field such as Team, filter Students by it, and use Add charge on the players who are going. Choose a concept like Event, an amount and a due date. Only the selected players are charged, and you can select up to 300 students at a time.
How does a sibling payment work?

Select the charges of each sibling and register one joint payment. Membrix applies it across the accounts and each student keeps their own balance and history. Membrix warns you if the students don't share the same contact, so you can check before you confirm.
Can I run an adult league on the same account?

Yes. Adults can be students too: the sign-up form asks whether the person is an adult student or the guardian of a minor, and an adult signs up on their own. A league season can be a fixed-length program with its own price and number of payments.
Do my coaches need to read English?

No. The coach portal and the mobile app are in Spanish. A coach sees only the classes assigned to them and marks attendance, and doesn't see payment amounts. Team names, class names and custom fields can be written in either language.
Can I cap the number of players in a group?

Yes. Give a class a capacity and Membrix shows how many spots are left. The public sign-up form marks a full class so it can't be chosen. There is no waiting list, so a full group stays full until someone leaves.
